    The Polk Regional Water Cooperative announces public meetings for the fourth quarter of 2017, to which all persons are invited.

    DATES AND TIMES: Wednesday, October 18, 2017, 2:00 p.m.; Wednesday, November 15, 2017, 2:00 p.m.

    PLACE: Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing Headquarters building in the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex, 2701 Lake Myrtle Park Road, Auburndale, Florida 33823 at 2:00 p.m., unless otherwise set by the Board.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Polk Regional Water Cooperative (the “PRWC”) is an independent special district of local government whose members are the fifteen largest municipalities located within Polk County, Florida, and Polk County, a charter county and political subdivision of the State of Florida. Each Member Government is represented on the PRWC Board of Directors by one of its elected officials (e.g. Mayor, Vice-Mayor, Commissioner, etc.). The PRWC Board of Directors will meet on the dates and times listed below to discuss and decide matters which may include the cooperative’s organization, its budget, water conservation, and PRWC water project selection, funding, planning, and development.
