GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The purpose of these workshops is to review the recommendations of the Marine Life Workgroup for rulemaking, which include additions to the list of species that will now require the marine life endorsement for commercial harvest, changes to sizes and bag limits of various species already covered in the rule (such as Ricordea sp., dwarf seahorses, and Condylactus sp.) as well as for some newly added species. A spawning season closure has also been suggested for Condylactus. The Commission will also be gathering information on species being harvested for souvenirs (curio trade).
