NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on August 26, 2008, the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, received a petition for variance filed by Eckerd Youth Alternatives, Inc., the operator of three outdoor residential commitment programs for delinquent youths. The requested variance pertains to that portion of paragraph 63E-7.013(3)(b), F.A.C., requiring staff to observe youths in their sleeping quarters at least every ten minutes.
