    The Florida Department of Environmental Protection, in conjunction with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The purpose of the workshop is to discuss the proposed local restoration projects designed to address injury from the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill: two living shoreline projects and a new saltwater fish hatchery. Information will be presented on living shoreline projects and what they entail as well as their benefits. The discussion will also introduce two possible living shoreline projects proposed for the area. Concepts for a new saltwater hatchery to enhance recreational fishing opportunities will also be presented. A question and answer period will follow the presentation.
