NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Office of Financial Regulation has received a petition for declaratory statement from Lux Vending, LLC on September 1, 2016. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Chapter 560, Florida Statutes, as it applies to the petitioner.

The petition seeks a declaratory statement from the Office on whether Petitioner’s proposed business model (of operating kiosks in the State of Florida for the sale of bitcoin from its own inventory at one or more Company-owned bitcoin kiosks) falls within the Florida Money Transmitter Statute, Chapter 560, Florida Statutes.
