    The Florida Department of Transportation, District 2 announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: September 18, 2017, 4:30 p.m. 6:30 p.m.

    PLACE: Jacksonville University, Gooding Auditorium, 2800 University Boulevard North, Jacksonville, FL 32211

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation invites you to a public hearing regarding the University Boulevard (S.R. 109) at Merrill Road roundabout, Financial Project ID 441933-1, in Duval County, Florida. The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) is proposing changes to University from Arlington Expressway to Merrill Road and may apply for a permit with the FDOT in the near future. This project is part of an initiative by JTA and the City of Jacksonville to revitalize the Arlington area and is not funded by FDOT. The hearing will begin with an open house from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A formal presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a public comment period. Public participation is sought without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability or family status.
