NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on August 31, 2018, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for One St Petersburg at 100 1st Ave N, St Petersburg, FL. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of Rule 2.8.1, ASME A17.1, 2013 edition, as adopted by Rule 61C-5.001, Florida Administrative Code, that requires only elevator equipment be located in the machine room which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
