    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Building Commission has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by C4 Architecture, LLC on June 28, 2018. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition:

    Petitioner requested an answer to the following question, based upon the project described within its petition: Does the Florida Accessibility Code – Sections 201.1.1 and 206.2.3 – allow Limited Use/Limited Application Elevators or Platform Lifts installed per Florida Accessibility Code sections 408 or 410 to meet the requirements for vertical accessibility in buildings where the ADA does not require vertical accessibility? On August 15, 2018, the Commission provided the following answer: Yes. Limited-Use/Limited Application elevators or platform lifts installed in accordance with section 408 or section 410, Florida Building, Accessibility, 6th Edition (2017), and listed/certified for the intended use are acceptable for the project in question.
