    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Department of Financial Services, Division of Fire Marshal (Department) has received the petition for declaratory statement from Stephen C. Hesson, Assistant Fire Chief, Fire Marshal, City of Gainesville, on September 3, 2020. The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of Florida Fire Prevention Code 6th Ed 101 as it applies to the petitioner.

    The Petition asks whether a retailer is permitted to install security access turnstile Technoport entry-exit systems at sales entrances, pursuant to Florida Fire Prevention Code 6th Ed 101:A.7.2.1.11.1.3, and Chapters 11 through 43, 101:36.2.2.2.9, 7.2.1.10, 101:7.2.1.11.1.1, 101:36.2.2.2.9. Responses, motions to intervene, or requests for a hearing must be filed within 21 days of this Notice.
