    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 11, 2024, the Emergency Communications Board, received a petition for variance or waiver filed by Wanda Vega, 911 County Coordinator on behalf of St. Johns County. The Petitioner is seeking a variance of paragraph 60FF1-5.003(2)(a), F.A.C., which sets deadlines for when grant applications should be submitted. The statute is 365.172(6)(a)3.b., which authorizes the Emergency Communications Board to issue grants to Florida’s counties to develop, maintain, and improve their emergency communications systems.
