    NOTICE OF CHANGE

    Notice is hereby given that the following changes have been made to the proposed rule in accordance with subparagraph 120.54(3)(d)1., F.S., published in Vol. 40, No. 226, November 20, 2014 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.

     

    65C-38.001 Definitions.

    The following definitions are to be used for Chapter 65C-38, F.A.C.

    (2)(3) “Verified Maltreatment Finding” means a finding by the child protective investigator that a preponderance of credible evidence exists to support the allegations of abuse, neglect or abandonment. A verified maltreatment finding includes an out-of-state finding of “substantiated.”

    (2) Out-of-state child welfare background checks shall be conducted on any household member 18 years of age or older who has resided outside the state of Florida within the past five years.
