    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: Review and amend rule language as necessary to ensure that all rules conform to statutory requirements and to delete unnecessary and obsolete language. The department intends to update department forms and requirements for EMS Service requirements, including licensure, vehicle and air ambulance permitting and staffing requirements, life support and lifesaving equipment and supplies, medications and medication security, patient transport requirements, and department inspection requirements of EMS services; emergency use of and training related to epinephrine auto injectors including but not limited to treatment of allergic reactions; neonatal transports; EMS grants; reporting requirements; and convicted felons applying for certification/recertification. The department intends to make amendments related to instructor qualifications at EMT and paramedic training programs.
