    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 06, 2023, the Department of Environmental Protection, received a petition for variance from City of Fort Myers Public Utilities. The petition requested a variance for non-potable water transmission pipes from paragraph 62-555.320(21)(b), F.A.C., which requires using blue as a predominant color to differentiate drinking water from other water. The pipes are located along Hanson Street, Work Drive, Winkler Ave., and Six Mile Cypress Parkway in Fort Myers, Florida, in Sections 28, 29, 30, 32, and 33, Township 44S, Range 25E, and in Section 4, Township 45S, Range 25E, in Lee County. The petition has been assigned OGC# 23-1622 and File No. 125191-726-WC/V2.
