PURPOSE AND EFFECT: Section 373.475, F.S., requires the Department to adopt rules to establish procedures for providing loans to local governments or water supply entities for the development and construction of water storage facilities.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Rules of Chapter 62-554, Florida Administrative Code, titled “Water Storage Facility Loan Program,” will be promulgated to establish procedures for administering a loan program similar to the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program, but solely in accordance with state law.
