The Board of Medicine hereby gives notice:

That on October 20, 2014, an Order was filed on the Petition for Waiver or Variance. The Petition for Waiver or Variance was filed by Mojgan Kaveh-Talley, M.D., on September 10, 2014, seeking a waiver or variance from Rule 64B8-13.001, F.A.C., with regard to the licensure renewal requirements. The Notice was published in Volume 40, No. 180, of the Florida Administrative Register, on September 16, 2014. The Board, at its meeting held on October 10, 2014, voted to deny the Petition for Waiver finding that the Petitioner failed to demonstrate a substantial hardship; that application of the rule would violate the principles of fairness; and that the purpose of the underlying statute has been met.
