    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of this rulemaking is to update adopted ASTM standards, amend incorporated forms, add accepted CEU course opportunities, amend inspection standards, update signage requirements, update citations, revise reinspection fees, remove duplications, update training requirements, modify accident reporting criteria, remove requirement for maximum fine for default final orders and to implement changes to section 616.242, F.S., made during the 2023 Legislative Session.

    SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: The proposed rules adopt updated versions of ASTM International Designation standards, modify department forms, clarify fee language as well as update requirements for signage, training, accident reporting and enforcement language.
