PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To incorporate the revisions for the School Improvement State System of Support for deficient and failing schools prompted by 2022 legislative changes in Senate Bill 2524 (Ch. 2022-154, Laws of Florida). Additionally, the revisions update and clarify language, processes and timelines as well as include other revisions to strengthen the Turnaround process for low-performing public schools. The effect of these revisions will provide clarity and consistency with state requirements.
