    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: Chapter 62-730 creates the Department’s framework of requirements relating to management of hazardous waste in Florida. The purpose and effect of this proposed rule is to amend rules identified in the Department's 2022-2023 Regulatory Plan to update Form 62-730.900(1)(b) 8700-12FL – Florida Notification of Regulated Waste Activity and Form 62-730.900(5)(a) Certificate of Liability Insurance Hazardous Waste Transporter and Used Oil Handler.

    SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: The Department is updating Form 62-730.900(1)(b) 8700-12FL – Florida Notification of Regulated Waste Activity to incorporate conforming changes made in 40 CFR Part 266 Subpart P, Hazardous Waste Pharmaceuticals requirements effective August 21, 2019. Additionally, updating Form 62-730.900(5)(a) Certificate of Liability Insurance Hazardous Waste Transporter and Used Oil Handler to include two checkboxes for liability insurance covering bodily injury and property damage.
