    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To implement newly created Section 265.0041, F.S.

    11D-10.001: Defines the eligibility requirements for persons nominated for induction into the Florida Law Enforcement Officers’ Hall of Fame.

    11D-10.002: Defines the nomination period, the maximum number of nominees from any one association, the association who are eligible to nominate persons for consideration, when nomination must be postmarked to be eligible, the required documents to be included in a nomination package, the maximum number of pages for each nomination package, how a person can be nominated in subsequent years if not selected, and that all nomination packages become the property of the Florida Law Enforcement Officers’ Hall of Fame. This Chapter also incorporates by reference the Florida Law Enforcement Officers’ Hall of Fame Nomination, form FAME-1.

    11D-10.003: Identifies the review process for nominations received, members of the Florida Law Enforcement Officers’ Hall of Fame Selection Committee, the number of nominees selected, and the deadline to forward nominees to the Governor and Cabinet for consideration for induction into the Florida Law Enforcement Officers’ Hall of Fame.
