    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of this rule development is to establish the ethical principles which educators should aspire to uphold and define the principles of conduct to which educators must adhere. The effect of this rule is to establish the philosophical and aspirational foundation for Florida educators and to outline the conduct that, if violated, may subject the educator to disciplinary action(s) against his or her Florida educator certificate.
