The Department of Management Services, E911 Board hereby gives notice of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Variance or Waiver for Putnam County, filed on October 7, 2015. The Notice of Petition for Variance or Waiver was published in Volume 41, No. 208, of the October 26, 2015, Florida Administrative Register. The Board considered the Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on November 18, 2015. The Petitioner was requesting a Variance or Waiver of paragraph 60FF-5.002(2)(a), F.A.C., more specifically, Sections 8.5 and 8.6 for W Form 3A, Application for the E911 State Grant Program (eff. 8/1/10), which is incorporated by reference, regarding return of 80% of grant funds received by Grant S3-10-11-06 and forgiveness of the additional 20% not refunded to the County.

The Board's Order, filed on December 2, 2015, dismisses the Petition for Variance or Waiver, finding that Petitioner may achieve the desired result within the existing terms of the grant application.
