    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of the proposed repeal of all the rules in Rule Chapter 12-9 (Certified Florida Property Appraiser and Certified Florida Tax Collector Program), F.A.C. is to support the creation of proposed new Rule Chapter 12D-19 (Florida Professional Certification Program), F.A.C. Some of the procedures in existing Rule Chapter 12-9, F.A.C., are addressed in proposed new Rule Chapter 12D-19, F.A.C. The effect of the proposed repeal of this existing rule chapter is to eliminate the possibility of redundant rule provisions after proposed new Rule Chapter 12D-19, F.A.C. is adopted.

    SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: The subject of the proposed repeal of all rules in Rule Chapter 12-9, F.A.C., is the training and certification program for upgrading the assessment and collection skills of Florida property appraisers and tax collectors, employees of Florida property appraisers and tax collectors, and employees of the Department of Revenue.
