    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purposed rule change would provide a legal means for permitted alligator meat processors to possess alligators legally taken by special-use alligator harvest permittees (per 68A-25.047, F.A.C.). The effect of the proposed rule amendment would be to allow for additional alligator meat trade opportunities and to provide consistency and clarity among references to mercury tags.
