    NOTICE OF CHANGE

    Notice is hereby given that the following changes have been made to the proposed rule in accordance with subparagraph 120.54(3)(d)1., F.S., published in Vol. 48 No. 225, November 18, 2022 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.

    The change is in response to language approved by the Board at the meeting held on January 20, 2023. The rule shall now read as follows:

    64B20-4.003 On-the-Job Training, Role and Observation of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Assistants.

    (1) though (7) No Change.

    (8) The following activities of a certified audiology assistant are permitted under the responsible supervision of the supervising audiologist without the requirement of the physical presence of a supervising audiologist:

    (a) No Change.

    (b) Test prescription hearing aids to determine if they meet appropriate specification and/or mechanical performance. A prescription hearing aid is defined in rule 64B20-8.0011.

    (c) through (g) No Change.

    (9) through (11) No Change.
