The Department of Health hereby gives notice of the issuance of an Order granting the petition for Variance or Waiver, filed on December 12, 2017, by Karina Barro. The Notice of Petition for Waiver or Variance was published in Vol. 44, No. 6 of the Florida Administrative Register. No comments were received in response to the petition. Petitioner sought a variance or waiver from the 1.5 hour per week of face-to-face interactive supervision requirement of Rule 64B21-500.005, F.A.C. The Department’s Order, filed on February 21, 2018, granted the Petitioner’s request because Petitioner demonstrated that she complied with the underlying statute requiring an applicant for a school psychology license to have a minimum of three years of experience in school psychology, two of which with 1.5 hours per week of face-to-face interactive supervision.
