    DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

    The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE), announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATES AND TIMES: Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the Indian River State College Wolf Center, 2400 S.E. Salerno Road, Stuart, FL 34997; and Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center, 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952. Both open house style meetings will be from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. There will be no formal presentations. The same information will be presented at both open houses.

    The open houses will give interested persons an opportunity to review alternatives for the proposed improvements, provide written comments and talk to project staff on a one-on-one basis regarding the conceptual design, and potential social, economic and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. The proposed improvements include widening Florida’s Turnpike, modifications to the existing interchanges, and potential new interchanges.
