PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of the amendment to Rule 59G-4.322, Florida Administrative Code, (F.A.C.), is to clarify policy language. The amendment updates the Florida Medicaid Respiratory Therapy Services Coverage Policy.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Respiratory Therapy Services.

An additional area to be addressed during the workshop will be the potential regulatory impact the amendment to Rule 59G-4.322, F.A.C. will have as provided for under sections 120.54 and 120.541, Florida Statutes.

(1) This rule applies to all providers rendering Florida Medicaid respiratory therapy services to  recipients.

(2) All providers must be in compliance with the provisions of the Florida Medicaid Respiratory Therapy Services Coverage Policy, ________ October 2016, incorporated by reference.
