61G5-18.007 Endorsement of CosmetologistsNOTICE OF CHANGE
Notice is hereby given that the following changes have been made to the proposed rule in accordance with subparagraph 120.54(3)(d)1., F.S., published in Vol. 39, No. 25, February 6, 2013 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.
The changes are in response to the letter from the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee dated February 13, 2013 and to correct errors in the proposed rule text. The changes will also correct typographical errors to 61G5-18.007(3) as well as correct the citations to Rulemaking Authority.
61G5-18.007(2) shall read as: “Demonstrates the applicant has……; and”
61G5-18.007(3) shall read as:
(3)(2) Demonstrates that the applicant is currently licensed to practice cosmetology under the law of another state having; Demonstrates that the applicant has completed at least 1200 cosmetology school or program hours substantially similar to, equivalent to, or greater than the qualifications required of applicants from this state; demonstrates that the applicant has passed a written licensure examination to obtain a license substantially similar to, equivalent to, or greater than the qualifications required of applicants from this state; and passage of a written examination.
The correction to the Rulemaking Authority will delete reference to citation 477.019(6) FS.
