    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The Division of State Group Insurance (Division) is responsible for the administration of section 110.123, Florida Statutes, primarily consisting of the health insurance and prescription drug benefits and the pretax programs that are available to officers, employees, and retirees of the State of Florida and their qualified dependents. The Division rules contained in Chapter 60P, Florida Administrative Code, prescribe the terms and conditions of participation in the state group insurance programs.
    SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Insurance benefits offered to State officers, employees, retirees and their eligible dependents. Also, pretax programs that provide a reduction in taxable income.
