14-85.025Denial, Revocation, Suspension, or Cancellation of Permit

The Department of Transportation hereby gives notice that on April 10, 2014, the Department of Transportation entered an Order Granting Waiver from paragraph 14-85.025(2)(a) and subparagraph 14-85.025(2)(b)1, Florida Administrative Code, in response to the Petition for Waiver filed by Tejal Patel d/b/a Super 8 Motel (Tejal Patel) seeking a waiver from the revocation, suspension, or cancellation of permit denial of his logo sign. The Petition was received by the Department on February 21, 2014. The Department published its notice of receipt of the Petition in the March 5, 2014, edition of the Florida Administrative Register. The Department granted the Petition because Tejal Patel has demonstrated the purpose of the statutes underlying subsection 14-85.024(d), F.A.C., can be achieved through other means, and would create a substantial hardship and result in an unfair and unintended result.
