    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 09, 2018, the Southwest Florida Water Management District, received a petition for a variance or waiver.

    Petitioner’s Name: West Villages Improvement District and The Ranch Land Operations, LLLP

    Rule No.: Rule 40D-2.301, F.A.C., and sections 1.4.13 and 3.9.2.6.2.2.3, Water Use Permit Applicant’s Handbook Part B (Applicant’s Handbook)

    Nature of the rule for which variance or waiver is sought: A variance is sought from rule 40D-2.301, which governs conditions for issuance of a Water Use Permit. Section 1.4.13 of the Applicant’s Handbook sets forth requirements concerning an applicant’s ownership or control of property on which facilities are to be located. Section 3.9.2.6.2.2.3 of the Applicant’s Handbook sets forth certain requirements concerning applications for new groundwater quantities submitted on or after January 1, 2007.
