PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To amend the existing boundary of the Villages of Westport Community Development District at the request of the District's Board of Supervisors.

SUMMARY: The District currently consists of approximately 1,476.34 acres of land located within the City of Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida. The Joint Petition requests removal of 1,058.56 acres and addition of 3.63 acres of property to the existing boundary of the District.

SUMMARY OF STATEMENT OF ESTIMATED REGULATORY COSTS AND LEGISLATIVE RATIFICATION:

The Agency has determined that this will not have an adverse impact on small business or likely increase directly or indirectly regulatory costs in excess of $200,000 in the aggregate within one year after the implementation of the rule. A SERC has not been prepared by the Agency.

However, a SERC was prepared at the request of the District. The SERC is at Exhibit 12 of the Joint Petition.

The Agency has determined that the proposed rule is not expected to require legislative ratification based on the statement of estimated regulatory costs or if no SERC is required, the information expressly relied upon and described herein: The Commission has determined that the proposed rule amendment is not expected to require legislative ratification based upon the statement of estimated regulatory costs completed at the request of the Villages of Westport Community Development District contained in the Joint Petition to amend the District.

Any person who wishes to provide information regarding a statement of estimated regulatory costs, or provide a proposal for a lower cost regulatory alternative must do so in writing within 21 days of this notice.
