40E-6.011Policy and Purpose
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 13, 2024, the South Florida Water Management District (District), received a petition for waiver from Florida Power and Light Company (Application No. 240513-43788) for utilization of Works or Lands of the District known as the L-31N Canal for an aerial parallel run, a buried parallel run, and an aerial line crossing the canal located within the east and west right of way; Section 19, Township 56, Range 38, Miami-Dade County. The petition seeks relief from Rules 40E-6.011(4) and (6), Fla. Admin. Code, which governs placement of permanent and semi-permanent above-ground structures within 40 feet of top of canal bank within Works or Lands of the District.
