69G-20.0021 PROCEDURES FOR FILING CLAIM
The Department of Financial Services hereby gives notice:
That on May 25, 2023, it granted a temporary waiver to Choice Plus, LLC, pursuant to section 120.542, F.S. On April 12, 2023, the Department received an emergency petition from Choice Plus, LLC, requesting a waiver from subsection 69G-20.0021(4) of the F.A.C. regarding the required use of the Unclaimed Property Recovery Agreement, form DFS-UP-309. The Department granted the temporary waiver because Choice Plus, LLC, would suffer a substantial economic hardship if the waiver was not granted and the purpose of the underlying statute has been and will be achieved. The waiver shall apply only to certain contracts between Choice Plus, LLC, and potential owners of unclaimed property that were identified in Exhibit A to the Order Granting Waiver.
