69L-8.074Materials for use throughout Rule Chapter 69L-7, F.A.C.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of this proposed rulemaking is to create a more efficient and transparent way of identifying and updating the various resource materials that have been incorporated by reference for use with Florida’s medical reimbursement, billing, and utilization rules. The new rule chapter would have the effect of avoiding potentially lengthy and unnecessary delays and of ensuring that all referenced rules are supported with the most current reference materials possible.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Materials incorporated by reference into the following manuals: The Florida Workers’ Compensation Health Care Provider Reimbursement Manual; the Florida Workers’ Compensation Reimbursement Manual for Ambulatory Surgical Centers; the Florida Workers’ Compensation Reimbursement Manual for Hospitals; the Florida Workers’ Compensation Medical Services Billing, Filling and Reporting Rule.
