Notice is hereby given that on June 1, 2020, the Board of Medicine received a renewed petition for variance filed on behalf of Scott Loessin, M.D., from Rule 64B8-9.009, F.A.C. The Petitioner seeks a variance from 64B9-9.009(2)(f), which requires patients to be discharged within 24 hours of presenting to the office for surgical procedures. Comments on this petition should be filed with the Board of Medicine, 4052 Bald Cypress Way, Bin #C03, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-3053, within 14 days of publication of this notice.
