NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 28, 2024, the Department of Environmental Protection, received a petition for variance or waiver pursuant to section 120.542, F.S. from 1380 Ocean Associates, LLC. The petition requested a variance from rule subsection 62B-33.005(13), F.A.C., which requires tinted glass or similar light control measures to be used for windows and doors which are visible from nesting areas of the beach. The property is located at 1380 South Ocean Boulevard, Pompano Beach, Florida. The petition has been assigned OGC #24-1743 and FDEP File #BO-845 M1.
