    62-701.520Special Waste Handling

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on July 15, 2015, the Department of Environmental Protection, received a petition for a waiver from Triumvirate Environmental (Florida) Inc. The petition requested a waiver from paragraph 62-701.520(5)(d), F.A.C., which requires that treated biomedical waste be disposed of in permitted Class I landfills or incinerators used to combust solid waste. Triumvirate Environmental (Florida) Inc. intends to recycle treated biomedical waste in accordance with a permit issued by the Department. The activity is located at 10100 Rocket Boulevard, Orlando, Florida, 32824, in Section 11, Township 24 South, Range 29 East in Orange County, at latitude 28o25’05’’ and longitude 81o23’11’’. The petition has been assigned File No. SWVA 15-3, and OGC File No. OGC 15-0442.
