6A-1.099812Education Accountability for Department of Juvenile Justice Education Programs
PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To consider four additional components for the performance ratings now that the necessary data are available, and this will finalize implementation of the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) accountability rating system. An appeals process is being considered to align the DJJ rating system with other school accountability system processes. Now that data are available for all required components, the current classification cut scores will be replaced by overall cut scores, and this change will make the DJJ accountability rating system results easier to interpret for districts. Lastly, a definition for “Employment” would be added for clarification purposes.
