    Notice is hereby given that the following changes have been made to the proposed rule in accordance with subparagraph 120.54(3)(d)1., F.S., published in Vol. 44 No. 133, July 10, 2018 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.

    Section I, A. 1 through A. 6.: No change.

    Section I, A. 7. Coalitions shall establish terms for all applicable appointed coalition members. (s. 1002.83(11), F.S.) The coalition must stagger terms and they must be a uniform length that does not exceed four years per term. Coalition chairs shall serve for four years in conjunction with their membership on the Early Learning Advisory Council in compliance with s. 20.052, F.S. Appointed members may serve a maximum of two consecutive terms. A governor appointee may serve beyond the expiration of a second consecutive term if the governor has not appointed a replacement. The coalition must submit timely requests for replacements to the Governor’s Office of Appointments for all governor appointee positions that are approaching term limits.
