    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Department of Management Services has received the petition for declaratory statement from Lake County, Florida on or about July 18, 2018The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of Rule 60S-1.004, F.A.C., as it applies to the petitioner.

    Petitioner asserts that a group of “as-needed” workers who provide emergency medical services for the county should be considered temporary workers and thus are not required to enroll in the Florida Retirement System.
