This meeting is being held to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the Florida’s Turnpike (SR 821) Widening Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study with project limits from US 1 (south of Palm Drive) to Campbell Drive, in Miami-Dade County. The proposed improvements include the widening of Florida’s Turnpike, modifications to the existing US 1 interchange and a new interchange at Lucy Street/SW 328 Street. (Financial Project Identification Number 439545-1 and Efficient Transportation Decision Making Number 14322). This meeting will give interested persons an opportunity to review project information, ask questions and provide written comments concerning the conceptual design and potential social, economic and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. FTE representatives will be available to discuss the project and answer questions on a one-on-one basis. Displays that illustrate the proposed improvements will be available at the meeting and on the study website, www.TurnpikeSouthMiamiDade.com, starting January 21, 2020.
