The proposed rule amendment would adjust definitions as follows: Bow definition – remove the minimum draw weight requirement for bows when taking game. This proposed change would help simplify bow hunting regulations in Florida. Muzzleloading gun definition – clarify that a muzzleloading gun is a firearm designed to have projectiles loaded through the muzzle and is fired by a wheel lock, flintlock, percussion cap, or centerfire primer. This proposal would clarify that muzzleloading guns designed to allow accelerant (gun powder) to be loaded at the breech may be used during muzzleloading gun seasons. Common gallinule – change all references of “common moorhen” to “common gallinule”.
