The Division of Air Resource Management will conduct a rule development workshop to discuss proposed amendments to Chapter 62-252, F.A.C., as noticed in the Florida Administrative Weekly October 20, 2006. The proposed rule development involves amendments to Chapter 62-252, F.A.C., to revise rules that address requirements for gasoline vapor control from gasoline dispensing facilities, bulk plants and tanker trucks. The proposed rule development would eliminate Stage II vapor recovery requirements for new and upgraded gasoline dispensing facilities in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties and phase out Stage II vapor recovery requirements for existing facilities in those counties. The proposed rule development would also apply Stage I vapor recovery requirements statewide to new and upgraded gasoline dispensing facilities and new bulk plants, and phase in Stage I vapor control requirements statewide for existing facilities. This meeting is being conducted in conjunction with a workshop on Chapters 62-252 and 62-296, F.A.C., on the same subject. There is no draft rule language available at this time; however, it is expected the department will post draft rule language at the following web site by January 26, 2007: http://www.dep.state.fl.us/Air/rules/regulatory.htm
