The purpose of the Agency’s request for public comment is to seek input from interested parties on the Implementation Plan Report, a work product developed as part of the Privacy and Security Project, relating to the development and implementation of a Florida health information infrastructure including a strategy for promoting the use of electronic health records. The Interim Implementation Plan Report (Version 1) and information about all Project related activities is available on the AHCA website at: http://ahca.myflorida.com/dhit/ Privacy_ss.shtml. Interested parties are invited to comment on the Implementation Plan report in person at the public hearing and in writing. For planning purposes, interested parties who wish to attend the public hearing and provide comments at the hearing are encouraged to notify the agency prior to the close of business on Friday, January 26, 2007.
