Rule 40D-1.659, F.A.C., incorporates by reference a revised Supplemental Form to be used for all Water Use Permit applications for water withdrawals located or to be located within the Southern Water Use Caution Area of the District. The revised form eliminates the requirement to attach an Alternative Water Supply Feasibility Report for those applicants seeking to modify or renew existing small general water use permits (withdrawals of less than 100,000 gallons per day on an annual average basis). Instead, such applicants will be required to certify that consideration has been given to using alternative water supplies, and that specific types of alternative water supplies are not technically, economically or environmentally feasible as a source of water for the intended use.
