Rule 62-555.330, F.A.C., is being amended to list the latest edition of American Water Works Association Manual M14, Recommended Practice for Backflow Prevention and Cross-Connection Control. Rule 62-555.360, F.A.C., is being amended to specify the required elements of written cross-connection control programs, which must be established and implemented by community water systems; to require that community water systems submit their required written cross-connection control programs to the Department for approval; to require that community water systems submit an annual cross-connection control program status and activities report to the Department; to require that public water systems report backflow incidents to the Department; to allow community water systems to select from among a menu of backflow protection alternatives for residential premises where there is an auxiliary or reclaimed water system; and to make various other changes or clarifications. Rule 62-555.900, F.A.C., is being amended to list a new form for community water systems to use for annual cross-connection control program status and activities reports.
