The purpose and effect of these new rules and amendment to rules is to ensure compliance with Chapter 2023-273, Laws of Florida, mandating the licensure of adult day training (“ADT”) programs. These proposed amendments will include ADT programs in the license application procedures, the license application, the duration of an ADT license, restrictions on any changes to and assignability of license, and monitoring process. The amended rules will include new definitions for terms utilized within Chapter 65G-2, Florida Administrative Code.
