Section 409.818(3)(e), F.S. directs the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) to establish a mechanism for investigating and resolving complaints and grievances for the Florida KidCare Program. The purpose of the proposed rule is to establish the AHCA’s Florida KidCare grievance process in rule. In the Notice of Rule Development, the title of the rule Chapter 59G-14, F.A.C., was Florida KidCare; and we published preliminary text for two rules: 59G-14.001, Definitions, and 59G-14.002, Florida KidCare Grievance Process. We renamed the rule chapter 59G-14, Florida KidCare Grievance Process, and divided the Florida KidCare Grievance Process into six separate rules: 59G-14.002 through 59G-14.007.
