The Agency is hosting a public meeting regarding Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment Reimbursement Methodology for use in determining payment for hospital outpatient services. During the 2015 Legislative Session (Special Session A), the Agency was directed to contract with a vendor to develop a plan to convert to a prospective payment system for outpatient hospital reimbursement. The Agency has entered into a contract with Navigant Healthcare to support the completion of this initiative. Navigant will work with the Agency to develop a hospital outpatient prospective payment policy design resulting in a final policy design document for submission to the Governor’s Office and the State Legislature on November 30, 2015.
